The A.L.i.C.E. Program
When faced with an Active Shooter or Violent Intruder of any kind, our A.L.i.C.E. Program (Alert, Lockdown, inform, Counter, Evacuate) prepares employers, workers, teachers and students who may find themselves facing extreme danger. Our comprehensive approach uses strategies which incorporate environmental design, technology & communication, law enforcement response, and the oft missing link — ACTION — by those in immediate danger. Throughout almost ten years of conducting this program, we have discovered the basic concepts of A.L.i.C.E. are very similar for all demographics. However, in working with different workplace sectors we have designed specific protocols depending on their unique needs, the structure and layout of the facilities and the mission of the organization. We have specialized training for K-12, College and local law enforcement officers who serve those populations.
