The creation for the Unravel Pediatric Cancer website was very dear to our heart. We were looking for a great way to attract attention towards the cause of creating awareness of childhood cancer. The home page consists of two Slider Revolution sliders. The first one is obvious as it displays important statistics over a glitter background. This slider uses custom previous and next buttons that match the style of the page. It also uses a Google Font typeface that resembles handwriting, without having to convert any of the text to images, allowing search engines to index the text as part of their keywords.
The second slider, uses custom CSS to create text boxes with a background image. These text boxes are also 100% text (no text images) which as mentioned above allows search engines to index the text as part of the pages keywords.
