AUTHENTICITY

Recently, I read the book The Thank You Economy by Gary Vaynerchuk.  As he states “The Internet, where The Thank You Economy was born, has given consumers back their voice, and the tremendous power of their opinions via social media means that companies and brands have to compete on a whole different level than they used to.”  Behind every business is something tried and true…..authenticity.

Authenticity is being who you are.  When you have passion for what you do, it shows.  When you have competency in what you do, it shows. When you have the discipline to be successful, it shows.

Time and time again, we have said that people do business with those they trust.  We really don’t throw words around like authenticity, transparency, good customer service, unless we mean it…..because in this economy, people are able to see right through you.  You also have to invite your customers to see who you are and what you do best.

Building a good customer base takes time.  Problem solving and critically thinking to help small businesses is a service that is offered by those who understand that in order to begin receiving, you have to start by first giving.

This is the  The Thank You Economy.
