Recently, we have had the privilege of working with a partner, Deb Gutierrez, founder of LymeDiseaseAwarenessFoundation.org. Her story is amazing, a true story that she shares in hopes of helping others to understand Lyme disease and its associated symptoms. We have really never met anyone like her. She inspires and encourages others to be vigilant with making sure that they are adequately diagnosed and treated. Deb has dedicated her life to reveal the truth in the lives of people who have not been correctly diagnosed with Lyme disease and suffer the consequences of living with misdiagnosis. Her hope is to spread awareness of this disease and have this knowledge given to doctors to correctly diagnose their patients.This desire has come from my own tragic personal experience of a loved one’s misdiagnosis which turned into a revelation, enlightening the truth of this devastating illness.
